The customer service was great when taking your money !!!! They had to order the table and chair set received it in March 2016, one chair was defective. The customer service from this point on was non-existent, no returned phone calls, had chair a week to take apart and put back together (came back worse then when dropped off), they just received parts to "fix" the chair (August). I wanted them to re-order a chair and replace the junk one we have they would not have any part of this! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE EVER!!!!!!
Horrible!!! DO NOT buy from this place...We bought a dresser and they had to order it. Come to find out it was discontinued and no longer available. They wanted us to take the very damaged floor model. They would NOT give us our money back. The person I dealt with never called me back as promised but rather I always had to call him as well. Finally we had to take a floor model of a different model. We are not happy with the dresser or this company. I also found the dresser they finally made us take for almost 100.00 cheaper elsewhere. I want to warn people don't waste your time or money at Bob's.
The worst furniture store in the area. No customer service, no standing behind their products. They just want your money..... but if anything goes wrong (and it will) they dont return calls, fix the furniture, or help at all.
My wife and I went to Bob's this week looking for some inexpensive furniture for my daughter's first apartment, and I found out that Bob's is a new/junky furniture retailer. Prices are decent but their products are of the worse quality. Go to Habitat For Humanity and get nice quality used furniture for the same price or less. Bob's is highly NOT recommended!
Reclining chair smelled of cigarette smoke! I purchased a recliner and a bed frame, after delivery (by the owner) on a saturday, I noticed the chair smelled of cigarette smoke and immediately called the owner, he stated that they had had a problem in the past of employees smoking in the warehouse and loading dock, and that I should let him know if the smell had not dissipated by monday. I had to leave my windows open all weekend and even tried baking soda and vacuuming the chair, and it still smelled. After many calls and request for the chair to be removed and get a refund the owner finally came days later and took the chair away! But I couldn't get a refund, only in store exchange credit. I was not about to get anything else with fabric since it might end up smelling too! I was not happy with the way things were handled.
