GREAT experience with salesman WILL! Very very very kind, and sincere. SALES MANAGER JOHN YORK, NOT SO KIND AND SINCERE. I purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. In total I walked out paying over $12,000. For that price I feel like I should be walking out with a vehicle and not having any issues. HOWEVER....few weeks later I called them, to let them know I heard a noise, a squeek kind of sound every time I started up the vehicle. They told me to bring it in, so I drove from Syracuse back to canandaguia to drop my car off. I dropped it off at 6:00pm. The FOLLOWING DAY, They called me @ 4:30, to tell me the car was done they " greased up some nuts and bolts on the AC compressor " so a couple days later I drove out AGAIN, from Syracuse to canandaguia to pick up my car. THE FIRST START of the car, it made the SAME SOUND I brought it in for. So no, not fixed. The two sales guys looked around for sales manager John York, 10 mins later they found him. He told me I could " leave the car there again or take it home" So of course, I left the car there and again, drove home to Syracuse with the rental. Next day, they called me up, magically it was fixed again. Replaced the serpentine belt. ( but before they thought it had something to do with the AC compressor, seeing as how they "greased up some nuts and bolts on it " ) anyways, drove my car home back to Syracuse . THE NEXT DAY, sammmmmmeee exact noise was back. Hmmm. AGAIN I drove the car back to canandaguia from Syracuse. For a WEEK, 7 days they all of a sudden couldn't hear the noise anymore.
I was searching for a truck and couldn't find one locally so I eventually found one located at Web Smart in Canadaigua, NY. They offered me a great price for my trade and a good price on the new truck. I traveled 3 hours to make the deal and upon arrival the truck had some stuff stripped off of it and I was told that the accessories removed were thrown away. I was upset and still am that the truck wasn't like it was when it was for sale online. Long story short the manager didn't do much at all to make the situation right and it's upsetting because I took a chance with an unfamiliar dealer. The best the manager could do was fill my fuel tank....compared to $500 accessories. Over all happy with the truck, the salesman John is friendly and helpful, just a shame he has a poor boss.
John York was AMAZING to deal with throughout the process. He understood my concerns and was extremely helpful throughout the process. The dealership gave the car a THOROUGH INSPECTION and delivered me a car that surpassed my expectations! I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of this dealership. I HIGHLY recommend them for the purchase of a pre-owned car!
