It's a very easy walk to the waterfall. Quiet during the week.
A group of people that was walking to their car - said: at least we weren't the only ones being yelled at. They were told to leave at 7:15pm because the park was closed. Hmmmm big sign said: 9pm...
Handicapped accessible on the lower side with excellent restroom and kitchen facilities.
Cranky man will probably be happy we won't be back.
Did not stay in cabins, but they appear very nice and the rental rates are reasonable for folks wishing to stay at the lake.
Use the roots to climb the waterfalls. Dont fall. Death eminent.
Beautiful park; half of the park is on Canandaigua Lake. Recommend parking on the uphill side and walking down to the lower side; parking on uphill side is free and pet-friendly.
*Now that the camping/beach area is open for the season, don't expect to be welcome there. We usually walk our dog [lab] to the water, after the hike, like we always do, not 2 steps towards it a man was yelling at us that they weren't allowed, see the big sign!! Oh...sure, ok...sorry. he was right...We walked right by the sign.
Nice park, good hiking, nice waterfall, great bathrooms, playground and eating areas. Beach is all rocks but decent enough.
Very beautiful park, well maintained. Not dog friendly lake side, so leave your fur babies at home, parking at the bottom is $7. Top end is dog friendly and free parking.
