I have used this company three times, and 3 strikes you are out.
Long story short...they didn't show until 9:30. The truck they brought was too small so they waited for another truck to show. They partially loaded that one and with a lot of stuff still in the apartment they told my wife if she wanted them to take more it would cost extra. She said she wasn't paying extra. So they left it. Of course they took what they loaded to the new address and unloaded. They didn't put anything back together but the guys unloading worked hard and were very respectful. So now my wife and I have to meet over at the apartment every night after work ( 2 nights already and probably 2 to go) loading 2 SUV's and then driving an hour back and forth. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Yes the guys doing the work are hard workers and respectful but as a business, they did a very poor job and left us hanging with a lot of work.
I called this company in plenty of time for our move. I wanted them to come to our apartment and give me a accurate quote as we have been burned by other movers that wait until they are partially loaded and then tell you they need more money to complete the move.
The second time I asked for two guys and they sent four.
The first time they were excellent.
A representative showed up and walked through every room while he took notes. He gave me a range and said it would not go over that. So we scheduled it. I was told they would be there at 8 AM and they even confirmed the day before. 8:30 rolls by and still no show. I called the company and the guy said "What? they aren't there yet?". "Let me call and see where they are."
The third time I had to call back twice, because they lost my number. I asked for two guys for three hours. They gave me an estimate of about $500. They sent three guys, two of who could not speak English, and it took less than three hours. They would not refund me any amount.
